Second wave of bands: More volume, more legends

Mayrhofen turns up the volume even further: The second wave of bands for Full Metal Mayrhofen 2026 has been announced – and it's a doozy. Eight new acts will make sure the Alps really rock. Here are the new names:

Doro
The undisputed Queen of Metal brings her new album Warriors of the Sea with her and delivers classics plus red-hot anthems. Doro live? Pure energy, zero compromises – Mayrhofen will be headbanging at the highest level.

Ensiferum
Nordic folk metal meets alpine vibe. With their current album Winter Storm in tow and frontman Petri Lindroos ‘roaring like a battle horn over frozen fjords’, Ensiferum deliver epic singalongs and a live show full of power.

Induction
Next-generation symphonic power metal. Tim Kanoa Hansen, son of Helloween legend Kai Hansen, leads Induction with a fresh sound and fat melodies. Born From Fire and The Power Of Power show that they are on a steep upward trajectory – even in the mountains of Mayrhofen.

Seasons in Black
Anthropocene catapulted the band to number 1 in the German metal charts. Lead shouter Lucki Maurer, known from TV cooking shows, adds a special flavour to the sound. On stage, Seasons in Black mix intensity with warmth – dark metal to party to.

And that's not all:

Ozzyfied – the authentic Ozzy/Black Sabbath tribute show.

Blechblosn – brass party that gets even metal fans dancing.

Der Rocka und da Waitla – rock “n” roll made in Bavaria, loud and honest.

Reis Against the Spülmaschine – fun punk & parodies with full-throttle laughs.

Full Metal Mayrhofen 2026 is making a big statement: more legends, more newcomers, more of everything. The countdown to the scene's loudest winter holiday is on – be there or listen to it afterwards.

Der Rocka & da Waitla

Rock’n’roll with a Bavarian soul – Der Rocka und da Waitla deliver energetic songs that move hearts and feet. Their live shows feel like a cozy mountain-hut evening, only louder and wilder. Humor and playfulness are always at the core. Between fat guitars and sing-along choruses, instant togetherness sparks. Like at FMM 2025! We just had to invite them again!

Blechblosn

Blechblosn fuse Bavarian brass music with rock and party vibes that are instantly contagious. Their shows are as colorful as an alpine panorama at sunset. With humor, groove and surprising cover versions, they make every crowd laugh and dance. Brass sounds and percussion swirl joyfully through the mountain air. Mayrhofen will feel pure alpine party power.

Reis against the Spülmaschine

This comedy duo serves up fun punk and clever parodies that make every crowd laugh. With songs like “Hast du Saufen mal probiert?” they turn everyday stories into festival hits. Their show feels as fresh as the season’s first snowy day. Spontaneous moments make every concert unique. Mayrhofen will become a stage for humor and music without limits.

Seasons In Black

With Anthropocene Seasons in Black serve up a bold statement for modern Dark Metal – and the secret flavor might just be the spice mix of chef-shouter Lucki Maurer, also known as a TV cook! This heavy-metal cake tasted so good that Metal Hammer lifted it straight to No. 1 in the charts. Live, they blend gripping intensity with surprising warmth. In Mayrhofen, dark sounds will meet a radiant mountain landscape.

Ozzyfied

Ozzyfied celebrate the legend Ozzy Osbourne with heart and sharp rock attitude. Classics like Crazy Train or Paranoid sound as fresh as first tracks in new snow. The band brings the unique Ozzy feeling to every stage – close to the original yet full of their own energy. Their shows unite generations of Rock fans, having found their most dedicated fanbase amongst the Metalheads in the W:O:A Universe!

Induction

Induction, with their EP The Power Of Power and the new album Born From Fire, have shown they don’t just keep up in power metal — they’re climbing mountains. Frontman Tim Kanoa Hansen is the son of Kai Hansen (Helloween, Gamma Ray) — serious musical DNA. Their blend of anthems, sonic walls and stadium riffs will strike Mayrhofen like an alpine blaze.

Emil Bulls

Emil Bulls have been cult legends for decades, smashing every genre boundary in their path. Their current album Love Will Fix It shows they’re still brimming with ideas. Their humor is as famous as their crushing riffs: once they missed their own support band because they got stuck at an après-ski party. Perfect conditions for a spot on our line up!
At Full Metal Mayrhofen they’ll destroy everything between snow bars and circle pits — but we love them anyhow! Or especially for THAT reason?

Paleface Swiss

Paleface Swiss are currently the band to watch in the Deathcore scene — anyone keeping track of modern heavy music knows their name. With Fear & Dagger, they’ve dropped a sledgehammer of a record that’s turning heads far beyond Switzerland. Frontman Zelli is infamous for savage vocals and an uncompromising stage presence that sends chills down spines. Their DIY spirit is unshakable: bookings, merch, promo, all handled themselves. Their circle pits are legendary and could easily trigger the next avalanche. Tyroleans, get ready — the Alps’ hardest wrecking ball is coming for you!

Ensiferum

Their last album Winter Storm distills Ensiferum’s epic tales of courage and camaraderie. Powerful melodies breeze through the valleys like crisp mountain air. From heroic riffs to folk refrains, everything feels like adventure and freedom. Live they become a joyful avalanche of sound. Frontman Petri Lindroos roars like a battle-horn across frozen fjords, leading Ensiferum’s charge with steel-edged growls and fearless stage power. Mayrhofen can look forward to Nordic fire with Alpine flair.
