Four more reasons why the Zillertal will get louder in 2027

Sure, you could come to Mayrhofen at the end of March for the view. Snow-covered peaks. Sunshine. Kaiserschmarrn. Very peaceful.

We’d rather put Grave Digger, annisokay, Mittel Alta and Dying Eden right in the middle of it.

Full Metal Mayrhofen returns from March 29 to April 3, 2027 – and four new names are joining the line-up, each with a slightly different interpretation of “mountain romance”.

Grave Digger bring decades of German Heavy Metal history to the Zillertal. annisokay deliver modern breakdowns with an Alpine backdrop. Mittel Alta will make sure the postcard scenery gets a healthy dose of controlled escalation. And Dying Eden? They don’t even have to travel. Our local heroes are from Mayrhofen.

That’s what makes Full Metal Mayrhofen different: bands you know from major clubs and festival stages, suddenly in a setting that’s closer, smaller and pretty hard to replicate. Up the mountain during the day, metal in the valley later – with a backdrop other festivals would need a very expensive LED wall to recreate.

Zillertal is bringing the mountains. We’ll bring the noise.

Four new bands. One ridiculously beautiful valley. Very little peace and quiet.
