The name is Mittel Alta. Which roughly translates into Medieval. Or “Mid, Dude”!

What awaits is neither mid nor bagpipes and some dude named Kunibert: wrong movie.

Mittel Alta operate somewhere inside the highly entertaining Bermuda Triangle of Metal, Rap and Hardcore and complete escalation. Genre boundaries are taken about as seriously as the advice to get an early night after après-ski.

It’ll be loud. It’ll be wild. It probably won’t be particularly educational.

And we can hardly think of a better place for it than a beautiful Austrian mountain idyll that really did nothing to deserve this.
