After two unforgettable editions, FULL METAL MAYRHOFEN returns to the heart of the Zillertal from March 29 to April 3, 2027. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks, rustic mountain huts, and the breathtaking alpine scenery of Mayrhofen, Europe’s most unique winter metal getaway is ready to raise hell once again. A week where crushing live shows, mountain adventures, and the spirit of the Alps collide in one unforgettable experience.

Anyone who joined us in 2026 already knows: FULL METAL MAYRHOFEN has become far more than just a festival. Thousands of metalheads from across the globe turned the entire town into one massive family. Whether carving down the slopes, riding the gondolas, sharing drinks at après-ski, or throwing down in front of the stages, everywhere you looked there were fellow metal fans celebrating a week packed with heavy music, friendship, and memories that will last a lifetime. Every show was packed, the energy was off the charts, and the spirit of metal echoed through every corner of Mayrhofen.

In 2027, we're picking up right where we left off.

First confirmed bands: Feuerschwanz, Dog Eat Dog, UDO, Rhapsody Of Fire

And this is only the beginning. Many more bands will be joining the lineup over the coming months.

The festival concept that fans have come to love returns as well. From Monday through Wednesday, the action takes place inside the Europahaus Mayrhofen, before moving to the legendary Waldfestplatz from Thursday to Saturday. Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Zillertal Alps, another week of heavy riffs, epic mountain views, and unforgettable festival moments awaits.

To kick off ticket sales, a limited number of Early Bird tickets will be available. Fans can choose between full-week passes for the complete FULL METAL MAYRHOFEN experience or 3-day tickets for those looking to spend an extended metal weekend in the Alps.

FULL METAL MAYRHOFEN is more than a festival—it's a vacation with your metal family in one of Austria's most stunning mountain destinations. Spend your days shredding the slopes, soaking up breathtaking alpine views, and hanging out in cozy mountain huts.
